FAQ

WHAT DOES THE RESILIENT RUNNER PROJECT TRAINING LOOK LIKE?

All training is individualized to the needs of the runner.  The goal is to maximize strength, stability, mobility, and impact resistance within your natural running form and movement patterns.  Training will also include teaching the body to react to unexpected changes in terrain to minimize both overuse and impact injuries.

HOW DOES TRAINING DIFFER FROM BEGINNERS TO EXPERTS?

All training is individualized and progressive.  We always start where you need to be met.  Beginners and advanced athletes will all experience education, foundation building, and fine tuning.  What the program exactly looks like depends on movement needs and phase of training for individual races.

DO I NEED TO BE AT A CERTAIN ATHLETIC LEVEL TO TRAIN?

No, I meet you where you need to be met.  Beginners and advanced athletes will both see benefit from the training.

DO I TRAIN IN SEASON OR DURING OFF-SEASON?

Both!  The training will look slightly different depending on point in the season.  In-season training is about impact resistance and maximizing power with-in your running form.  Off-season training gives us a chance to maximize strength and create more power!
